THE POWER OF US

Celebrating San Carlos & Beyond

Over 200 neighbors, nonprofit and civic leaders gathered at the Hiller Museum for our signature event on April 16, 2026. It was a powerful reminder of what we can achieve together. Thanks to your incredible generosity—from the spirited paddle raise to the "Golden Ticket" drawing—we raised vital funds to support 21 local nonprofits that foster empathy, creativity, and resilience. Our 2025 Award Recipients are two pillars of our community who represent the very best of San Carlos.

Community Spotlight

The Hearts Behind the Celebration

A huge event like Celebrating San Carlos doesn't just happen—it’s built through the dedication, late nights, and immense talent of local community members. We extend a heartfelt Thank You to the incredible team that brought this vision to life.

  • The Visionaries & Planners: Our gratitude starts with our charismatic Emcee, Kyle Morrisey, and our tireless Planners: Michael Campbell, Debbie Denton, and Arlene Garcia.

  • The Selection Experts: A special thanks to our Awards Selection team for their thoughtful deliberation: Debbie Denton, Michael Campbell, Kyle Morrisey, Randy Rae, Susan Kimmel, Tim King, Andy Klein, and Craig Weisner.

  • The Creatives & Artists: The evening was as beautiful as it was meaningful thanks to Twin Frames Photography (Kylene Shen and Pamela Li), Street Light Trio (Kerem Olgun, Athena Vernon, and Emma Lu), our Graphic Designers (Gretchen Wilson and Caleb Rampley) and the team at Bobkat Printing.

  • The Community Partners: Finally, we are deeply grateful to the local businesses that provided generous discounts and gift certificates. Their investment in our mission helps make San Carlos the vibrant place it is: sincere thanks to TOWN, Geoffrey’s, Devil's Canyon Brewing Co., Hiller Aviation Museum, and Bianchini’s Market.

San Carlos isn't just a place to live—it’s a place where people show up for one another. To everyone listed above & more: we couldn't have done it without you!
