at Hometown Days 2026!
We hope you enjoyed the incredible talent, music, and dance from a diverse lineup of local performers at this year’s Hometown Days. From the intricate rhythms of classical Indian dance to the high-energy strings of bluegrass, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Saturday, May 16th
Bharatanatyam & Indian Folk Fusion
Time: 12:00 PM – 12:20 PM
Location: Madsen Field Stage
Details: Our audience experienced the beauty of Bharatanatyam, a classical South Indian dance form featuring students Sahana James and Diya Kelath. The set concluded with a joyful Indian folk fusion medley performed by a group of local San Carlos women.
Attabean - Carlmont High Bluegrass
Time: 12:20 PM – 12:35 PM
Location: Madsen Field Stage
Details: Formed by Carlmont High School seniors, this group brought fresh energy to classic bluegrass with lively strings and tight harmonies.
Sunday, May 17th
San Carlos Sitaras

Location: Burton Park Stage
Details: Our very own local Bollywood group featuring kids and adults from the community brought a vibrant blend of classical Indian traditions and modern, upbeat styles to an enthusiastic audience.
Casa Círculo Cultural
Time: 2:30 PM – 2:50 PM
Location: Madsen Field Stage
Details: Redwood City-based Casa Círculo Cultural presented a Folklórico dance program, celebrating Mexican culture through regional music and traditional movement.
We also invited visitors to the CFSC booth to share their favorite memories of Hometown Days, what makes San Carlos unique, and thoughts about a 2076 Hometown Days Celebration. If you missed recording your thoughts, visit the Museum of San Carlos History, where it is on display.
