The Community Foundation of San Carlos is a local, volunteer-run nonprofit with one simple goal: to make our entire community stronger.

Each year, we raise and manage funds that go directly to trusted local nonprofits—organizations that help seniors, families, students, and neighbors facing hard times. These nonprofits know San Carlos, understand local needs, and stretch every dollar to make the biggest impact.

Through our Annual Appeal, we are able to grant more than $150,000 each year from the Foundation’s Endowment to support this important work. This year alone, 35 community volunteers carefully reviewed applications from 37 local nonprofits. From that process, 21 organizations were selected to receive funding—together serving an estimated 10,000 people in our community. These are your neighbors, friends, classmates, and coworkers.
