Celebrate 26 Years of Connection: Week of the Family

In San Carlos, community is at the heart of everything we do. In our City of Good Living, family means many things. It can be big or small, traditional or chosen. What matters most is connection.

For 26 years, Week of the Family has brought neighbors together through a volunteer-led tradition that celebrates learning, kindness, and time well spent. The Community Foundation of San Carlos is proud to support this long-standing community event that reflects who we are and what we value.

From January 23 through February 1, 2026, hundreds of people from across San Carlos will come together for ten days filled with fun, learning, and local pride. There is something for everyone - whether you live here, work here, run a business, serve through a nonprofit, or simply love this community.

Week of the Family is a chance to:

  • Strengthen bonds by spending meaningful time together

  • Support one another by learning about local resources that help families thrive

  • Give back by experiencing the joy of families serving families

Events take place all across San Carlos and are designed to be welcoming, accessible, and easy to enjoy. Most events are free, thanks to the generosity of volunteers, nonprofits, and community partners.
