Laurel Street Banner Contest
Celebrating LatinX Heritage Month
Calling All artists and graphic designers…
The Community Foundation of San Carlos is hosting a banner across Laurel Street from October 4 - 10, 2021.
We’re inviting the community’s artists, designers to submit banner designs depicting your interpretation of LatinX Heritage celebration in a double-sided, full-color 4’x25’ banner. The artwork should be delivered in the following format: TIFF files, high-resolution .JPG or PDFs (set to high resolution). The final resolution of the artwork should be at least 300 DPI, sized at 4’x25’, in order to print clearly at scale.
To participate in this contest, please submit your banner design via this Entry Form by Friday, September 10, 2021. *If you are under the age of 18, please have your parent/guardian fill out the form to give consent for your participation.
Recognition
The winning design will be produced into the banner showcased on Laurel Street in October to celebrate LatinX Heritage Month and recognized on the Community Foundation of San Carlos website and social media.

Ownership of Artwork
Ownership of the artwork submitted for the contest will remain with the artist. The Community Foundation of San Carlos reserves the right to reproduce and publish any and all artwork submitted for this contest, the artist’s name, age and school for promotional and marketing use.
Each Entry Form submitted by a minor must include the signature of the student's parent or guardian. Posters submitted without all the required information will not be eligible for the contest.
IMPORTANT: Artwork CANNOT contain nudity, racist, or xenophobic slurs or depictions, sex, drugs, alcohol, etc. Artwork must be the artist's own work. If a submission has any of the aforementioned restrictions or is not the artist's own work, the submission will not be accepted.
