Hometown Happenings

Brace yourselves, San Carlos. A delightful invasion is imminent. On Friday, October 24th, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m., a horde of the cutest ghosts, ghouls, and superheroes will descend upon downtown Laurel Street for the annual Goblin Walk. It’s that magical time of year when our city’s youngest residents (ages 7 and under, with an adult chaperone, of course) get to experience the thrill of trick-or-treating in the heart of our town.

Local businesses along Laurel Street, from San Carlos Avenue to Arroyo Avenue, will be opening their doors to offer sweet treats to these costumed kids. Just look for the official Goblin Walk sign in their windows! To make the candy-collecting official, the first 600 trick-or-treaters can even snag a special Goblin Walk bag at Harrington Park. It’s one of those perfect San Carlos afternoons that reminds us what a wonderful place this is to be a kid. So get those costumes ready!
